For your introductory dance class, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and does not restrict your range of motion. Women may opt for flat shoes or low heels, while men can wear sneakers or loafers.
We mainly attend pro/am dance competitions, where the dance couple is made up of the coach (professional) and the student (amateur). The competitions are sorted by levels; for example, a newcomer level heat would be targeted to students with a few months of dance experience, while a gold level heat would be suitable for students with several years of experience.
The number of lessons required to become a good dancer varies based on your goals and the dance styles you want to learn. During your introductory lesson, we would be happy to have a discussion with you and provide an estimate of what you can expect.
